GIVE US A HANDSHAKE

These are the faces (or in Patricia's case, the hair) behind Whiskey Bent, Inc.

OJ Mortensen is a Montana native. He rode bareback horses for The University of Montana Western and played football. No doubt about his athletic abilities. The skills he has amassed over the years come from ranching, rodeoing, 15 years of owning a construction company, and being just plain handy from the grace of God. He is certified as an equine chiropractor and keeps all of the Whiskey Bent, Inc. mob in good working order. OJ's talented hands also create stunning metal art that only rivals his ability to fabricate anything on the spot. Growing up in Great Falls, MT, he has now moved back to the town his family (Keasters) helped homestead in the late 1800's. OJ resides in the Highwood, MT Mercantile with his three beautiful kiddos and co-owner, Patricia Hammill. He is the head honcho at Whiskey Bent, Inc., the subject of our logo, and prefers his whiskey with water or ginger or both.

Patricia Hammill is a recent Montana transplant. She has spent her life chasing dreams and horses. She is a graduate of Oregon State University with a bachelor's in Ag Business and a minor in Equine Science. Reined cow horses have always been in her heart, so she moved to Marsing, Idaho in 2005 to work for one of the best trainers in the country, Dan Roeser. Finding a passion for bloodlines and an aptitude for breeding led her to a career diversion 4 years later. At Idaho Equine Hospital she handled all the semen collection, embryo transfers, frozen semen, and general reproduction working under Dr. Liz Scott. After 7 years of making top-notch foals, she decided to go and get her Masters in Business from Northwest Nazarene University. All along she has owned and operated Buckskin and Blue Photography, a side job that has led to a full-time endeavor. She now shares a life, a home, and a business with OJ. Patricia her days side by side with OJ at Whiskey Bent, Inc. and digs her whiskey in a ditch.

We are eager to report all the fun happenings over here at Whiskey Bent, Inc. with you guys. Between having a metal artist, equipment operator, photographer, web designer, and a couple of cowpokes on staff that raise bucking horses, there is no lack of happenings. Don't be afraid to ask about our services and products and make sure you watch for future giveaways and events. The Mercantile is our home base of operations, so if you are in the area, stop in, say HOWDY, and give us a handshake!
